How to Change your Account Email

Here's a quick guide to help you through the process. Update Email. Switch Email.

You can change your email directly from your account settings on the web version of xTiles — for example, if you want to switch from a personal email to a work one, or simply start using a different address.

Here's how:

Step 1

  1. Go to Account Settings

  2. Click Change Email

Using Apple or Google sign-in? Set a password first in the Account Settings section below. Accounts created through Apple or Google don't have a password by default, and the email change will be blocked until one is set.

Step 2

  1. Enter the new email address you want to switch to

  2. Click confirm

Step 3

A 6-digit confirmation code will be sent to your new email. Enter it in the dialog to complete the change. If the code doesn't arrive, you can use the resend option below the code input.

If the new email is already linked to another xTiles account, the change won't go through.

FAQ

Can I change my email using the mobile app?

Not yet. The option to change your email is currently available only in the web version of xTiles. You can access it from any browser on your phone or computer

by logging in at xtiles.app and going to Account Settings → Profile.

We're working on bringing more account management options to the mobile app in the future.

The new email is already linked to another xTiles account

To proceed, you'll need to log into that account and delete it first, or choose a different email that doesn't have an xTiles account associated with it.

I have Two-Factor Authentication enabled

If 2FA is enabled on your account, you'll be asked to enter your 2FA code before proceeding with the email change. Learn more: How to Enable Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)

I didn't receive the confirmation email

Double-check that the new email you entered is correct. Also check your spam/junk folder and any filtered tabs (like Gmail's Promotions or Updates).
